Jemimah Rodrigues Indian Women Cricketer reveals the name she has a crush

Jemimah Rodrigues is one of the most popular cricketers, playing for the Indian women’s cricket team. The 21-year-old has represented the Indian women’s cricket team in 21 ODIs and 47 T20Is so far. She has scored 394 runs in the 50-over format, with her highest score being 81*. 

Speaking of her numbers in the T20I format of the game, Jemimah Rodrigues has amassed 976 runs at a strike rate of 111.16. Rodrigues is a middle order batter who also bowls right-arm off-breaks. 

Apart from the Indian women’s cricket team, Rodrigues has played for India Green Women, Mumbai Women, Supernovas and most recently for the Northern Superchargers in Women’s Hundred 2021. 

Rodrigues traveled to the United Kingdom to play for the Northern Superchargers. Many fans would know that the Men’s Hundred 2021 was also happening at the same time, and South African star Faf du Plessis was a part of the Northern Superchargers team in Men’s Hundred 2021. 

Jemimah Rodrigues reveals she has a crush on Faf du Plessis 

Jemimah Rodrigues had a chat with Indian men’s cricket team’s all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin on his official YouTube channel. During that interaction, Jemimah was asked if she met any of the members of the men’s team of the Northern Superchargers team. 

Ashwin initially asked Jemimah if she met Jonny Bairstow during the Hundred. However, later the all-rounder remembered that Bairstow was a member of the Welsh Fire squad. Next, Jemimah spoke about Faf du Plessis and revealed that she had a crush on him. She revealed that du Plessis narrated how he reached the UK by quarantining at different places. Unfortunately, du Plessis could not play in Men’s Hundred 2021 because of concussion. The South African star will now play for the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues will play for India on the Australian tour.
