RCB is set to sign George Garton for the 2021 IPL. Kane Richardson is out of the tournament, so he replaces him. On September 19th, the UAE leg of the competition will begin. RCB will face KKR in the second phase.
The RCB has already announced three replacements
On Saturday, the RCB announced that Wanindu Hasaranga, Tim David, and Dushmantha Chameera will replace Adam Zampa, Finn Allen, and Daniel Sams on the roster. However, the franchise has not announced who will replace Kane Richardson, the Aussie pacer who will also not play in the remainder of IPL 2021.
RCB will sign George Garton for the IPL 2021
RCB is likely to hire left-arm pacer George Garton for the UAE-leg of the IPL in 2021, according to Cricinfo. As per a report, the inclusion of the Englishman in the IPL is subject to approval by the IPL governing council.
George Garton:
George Garton, 24, is an English left-arm pacer. The Southern Brave, the team which won the inaugural Hundred, was comprised of him. One of the most important players who helped the team win the cup was him. In the finals, the player opened the bowling for his team and bowled 20 balls for 27 runs. In the final, he bowled David Bedingham. Another new RCB signing, Tim David, caught the ball.
With an average of 19.51 and 43 wickets, he has played 37 T20 games so far. Besides bowling well in the shortest format, George is also a good red-ball bowler. Many believe he would do well in the whites as well.
