Former Indian U-19 cricketer Manan Sharma has announced his retirement. The all-rounder will now return to the United States to continue his career. Manan is not the first Indian cricketer to take this path.
Sunny Sohal, Timil Patel, Saurabh Netravalkar, Smit Patel, Siddharth Trivedi and Unmukt Chand will also play cricket in the United States.

Manan Sharma: a brief introduction
Manan Sharma is a left-arm spin bowler and batsman. During his time playing domestic cricket, he represented the Delhi team. He has shared a dressing room with players such as Gautam Gambhir, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, and Shikhar Dhawan.
India’s U-19 team at the 2010 U-19 World Cup included Mandeep Singh, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Sandeep Sharma, and even the current captain of the United States men’s cricket team, Saurabh Netravalkar.
A total of 52 runs were scored and four wickets were taken by Manan Sharma in five matches he played for India U-19s. His domestic career included 35 matches in first-class cricket, scoring 1,208 runs at 51.25 apiece. In 26 T20 matches, he scored 131 runs and took 32 wickets.
