After India take a 2-1 series lead, BCCI lashes out at Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri

India, led by Virat Kohli, put on a strong performance against England in the fourth Test match at The Kennington Oval. In the second inning, the visitors roared back after a poor first inning.

The game was won by 157 runs. With this special victory in London, the visitors now lead the Test series 2-1. The victory must have given the visitors a great deal of confidence.

India will aim to win this series in a big way. The fifth and final Test will be held on September 10 at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. The bad news is coming from the Indian camp.

According to media reports, the presence of Indian captain Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri at a public event in the city last week sparked outrage within the dressing room.

At the same time, the BCCI, India’s governing body, attacked the head coach and skipper. Ravi Shastri tested positive for a novel Coronavirus pandemic on Sunday.

The bowling and fielding coaches for Team India, namely Bharat Arun and R Sridhar, received positive results on Monday. “The BCCI is learned to be peeved with Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli for attending public events in London last week,” as reported by TOI.

On the other hand, pictures of Shastri, Virat Kohli, and Cheteshwar Pujara at a book launch in London have gone viral online. These photos have also been received by the BCCI.

As per the report shared by the Times of India, BCCI is livid with Kohli and Shastri. “The board will probe the matter. This incident has left the board embarrassed.

The coach and captain will be asked to explain the circumstances after the fourth Test at Oval. The team’s administrative manager Girish Dongre’s role is also under the scanner,” a source close to the BCCI told TOI.

“The BCCI is in touch with the ECB and trying to ensure the series is completed without any further incidents. As of now, everyone is hoping that Shastri recovers soon. There is a selection meeting for the T20 World Cup on Wednesday. Maybe the matter will be raised there,” the official added.

During the Test series, Kohli and Shastri’s careless activity would have adversely affected everyone’s health. It would have brought an end to the whole series.

Shastri’s Coronavirus test results have not yet been confirmed. Many believe, however, that he contracted the illness from the lift in his hotel, which was used by other guests.

IND VS ENG: Jarvo shares pictures from the fourth Test invasion

Jarvo, aka Daniel Jarvis, has recently gained a lot of popularity. Within a few weeks, pitch intruders became frequent intruders.

During the second test at The Lords, a YouTuber crashed into the pitch for the first time. He wore an Indian jersey, claiming to be a member of the Indian team. Despite this, the intrusion continued at Headingley in Leeds during the third test match.

Jarvo, however, this time played as a batsman, claiming to be Indian. Indian batsmen were out for just 78 runs, a travesty.

Jarvo, a.k.a. Daniel Jarvis, was banned after the intruder incident. It was the Headingley ground authority that banned him, not the ECB. Jarvo will no longer be able to enter the cricket ground as a result of the action.

Jarvo causes a ruckus in the fourth test

Jarvo, however, continued to operate following the action of the Headingley authorities. When he arrived in London, the fourth test match between England and India was underway. He hid until he intruded again on the pitch.

Jarvo ran onto the field during the 34th over of the second day of the English innings. As he bowled to Jonny Bairstow, he stormed the pitch.

Englishmen, however, did not tend to stop there. Jonny Bairstow was also present. From this point on, Jarvo certainly crossed all boundaries.

After he collided with Bairstow, the matter was no longer funny. On the ground, security personnel rushed him away. The incident is no longer funny as this intrusion has put the players at risk.

The ECB has not intervened in Jarvo’s nonsense. The fact that Jarvo has not yet been banned is even more bizarre. At this point, the whole situation has gotten out of hand, and everyone can see how the ECB is being mocked. Ollie Pope expressed shock over the repeated repetition of the incident.

Cricket experts and fans have condemned the frequent intrusions. The ECB has been criticized for its indifferent attitude and handling of this situation. Jarvo was arrested by the police for assaulting Jonny Bairstow.

Jarvo released a video of behind-the-scenes footage of the Oval intrusion. His YouTube channel also has the video. The executive authorities can be seen removing him.

The ECB Wrote a Humiliating Statement Over The Banner of a Plane Flying Over Leeds Stadium in The Third Test

On Day 3 of the third test between India and England, some interesting things happened. A standard was spotted flying with a plane over the Leeds Cricket Ground. It read ‘Sack ECB and Save Test Cricket’, which was embarrassing for the England and Wales Cricket Board. During India’s subsequent innings, it occurred in the 25th over.

Evidently, the ECB’s recent focus on white-ball cricket hasn’t piqued the interest of all cricket fans. During the 2019 World Cup, there were similar messages, but they were political in nature. The cricketing assortment of England was examined this time around by someone.

Many times this year, the ECB has shown a preference for white-ball cricket rather than Test cricket. Because of their return from the Indian Premier League or the 100-ball competition, you can rest a portion of the top players during the tests against New Zealand.

Further, the ECB requested that some of its test players play the underlying matches of ‘The Hundred‘. Therefore, this was an ill-advised practice for the high-profile test series against India. Even some players admitted that their training before the series had not been the best.

There are several reasons why the ECB is despised, including the 100-ball tournament, which is not very interesting to fans of the longest configuration.

Jarvo’s participation in the Test Match

Jarvo, who was seen again on the pitch on the third day of the Leeds Test after contributing as an Indian defender in the second test. In this case, the intruder was disguised as an Indian batsman. Jarvo wore a face veil during the event to protect the players from infection. On Day 3, there was another diverting event.

Matches in a thrilling mode

A few Indian players abandoned execution in the primary innings, which resulted in the entire group being packaged out for 78. As a result, England scored a magnificent 432-run total. England had a lead of 354 runs on Day 3 of the game. On Day 3, the Indian batsmen had reduced the lead to only 139 runs.

Kohli and Pujara have both dealt with 99-run organizations thus far. On Day 4, if both batsmen complete the underlying overs, the pressing factor may shift to the Englishmen.
