In the ongoing Test series against England, the Indian team has made a remarkable comeback and is now leading 2-1. The first Test in Nottingham ended in a disappointing draw.
At The Home of Cricket, India defeated the hosts by 151 runs. In the third Test at Headingley, England made a stunning comeback.
The hosts won the third Test by an innings and 76 runs, levelling the series at 1-1. Due to England’s victory, most cricket fans predicted that England would win the third Test.
England’s seamers restricted India to 191 runs in the first innings of the fourth Test at The Oval. Joe Root & Co. scored 290 runs in the second innings and led by 99 runs.
India had other plans for the second innings. Together, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma scored 83 runs. To turn the game around, Rohit and Cheteshwar Pujara added 153 runs for the second wicket.
Sharma scored his first overseas century, while Pujara scored 61. He scored 127 after hitting 14 fours and a six. Shardul Thakur and Rishabh Pant each scored 60 points.

At the Kennington Oval in London, Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed scored 77 runs for the opening wicket on Day 4. Nick Compton trolling Virat Kohli’s fans on Twitter before Day 5 of the test.
“Where have all my Indian Kohli loving fans gone?” Compton tweeted. England was bowled out for 210 in the second innings. The Indians took a 2-1 series lead by winning the game by 157 runs.
Fans responded harshly to Nick Compton’s tweet after India took the lead in the series. The fifth and final Test match will take place at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester on September 10.
