There are many Bollywood stars who have a crush on him. One more addition has been made to it, however. Recently, Mrunal Thakur revealed that she loves the Indian captain.
In an interview with a leading daily, Mrunal said, “There was a time when I was madly in love with Virat Kohli. I started liking cricket because of my brother who’s a big fan. I have fond memories of watching a match live at a stadium with him around five years ago. I remember I was wearing a blue jersey and cheering for team India. Cut to today, I am part of a cricket-based film like Jersey. It is such a happy coincidence.”
Currently, Mrunal is filming for her upcoming film Jersey.
Mrunal developed an interest in cricket because of her brother. Having watched a cricket match live in a stadium, she has a sense of the atmosphere. Her current project is a cricket-themed film with Shahid Kapoor as a co-star. Jersey is a remake of the original Telegu film.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have recently arrived in the UAE for phase 2 of the upcoming IPL 2021. In England, India had a very successful series and will hope to continue in that vein.
On October 19, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will face off in the first match of the IPL. It will be interesting to see who wins the IPL trophy this year. For RCB fans, winning Virat’s debut IPL title would be a dream come true.
