Viral tweet about future CSK captain that was deleted by Ravindra Jadeja

MS Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings, is unlikely to play more than one season. When he retires from the Indian Premier League, the Chennai Super Kings will be left with a big hole.

The Chennai Super Kings can buy another wicketkeeper and a finisher, but they won’t be able to buy a leader like Mahendra Singh Dhoni. During his captaincy, the Chennai-based franchise has reached the Top 4 ten times out of eleven seasons. Only in 2020 did they miss it.

It is also expected that the Chennai Super Kings will win the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League, with the team firmly positioned in the Top 4 before the UAE leg of the competition.

Chennai Super Kings fans have been asked on Twitter who will be the team’s captain. Ravindra Jadeja, the star all-rounder of the Chennai Super Kings, responded.

After offering an opinion, Ravindra Jadeja promptly deleted the tweet

In the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021, Ravindra Jadeja recently arrived in the United Arab Emirates to play for the Chennai Super Kings. The all-rounder replied to the following tweet using his jersey number ‘8’. CSK fans asked:

Who would be your pick to captaining the CSK team after MS Dhoni?

Jadeja tweeted the number 8, which is his jersey number, in response to that question. After deleting the tweet, fans took a screenshot. This screenshot of Ravindra Jadeja’s now-deleted tweet can be seen right here, which was shared by the CSK Fans Army themselves on their Twitter account.

Rory Burns Drops Rohit Sharma’s Catch as He Couldn’t Spot The Edge

Rohit Sharma has scored the second-most runs for Team India in the ongoing Test series. KL Rahul is the top run-scorer for the visitors.

Rohit Sharma has also played well in the ongoing Test series. He failed to make an impact as an opener in the first innings of the fourth Test at The Oval. The 34-year-old opener was dismissed after he managed only 11 runs in the first inning. He caught two passes, however, despite this.

On Day 2, Rohit made a sensational catch to dismiss Dawid Malan at the second slip. Southpaw played a shot off Umesh Yadav and ended up with an inside edge. The ball moved towards the slip. Sharma handled the incident well and took the catch well. He then took a regulation catch off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling to dismiss Moeen Ali.

India scored 191 runs in the first innings thanks to Shardul Thakur’s 57 and Virat Kohli’s 50. England was bowled out for 290 in its first innings. Ollie Pope scored 81 points, and Chris Woakes scored 50.

Rory Burns drops his catch, but Rohit Sharma survives

Sharma and Rahul came out to bat with the intent of scoring runs. Even though they were down by 99 runs, they played with confidence, grit, and determination.

England’s veteran pacer, James Anderson, struck Rohit with a terrific delivery. Rory Burns got an inside edge on the opening shot. Due to his failure to react in time, the fielder made an absolute comedy of errors. Since the player did not bend down, the ball hit his boots before reaching the boundary. India finished Day 2 with a score of 43/0.
