CSK announced the name of this star player in place of Sam Curran

Star left-arm fast bowler named as a replacement by Chennai Super Kings in place of Sam Curran for the playoff matches of IPL 2021

Sam Curran, an all rounder of Chennai Super Kings was ruled out of Indian Premium League 2021 because of a back injury. Along with that, the left-arm pace bowling all rounder will miss the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup event.

Dominic Drakes from the West Indies has been selected as a replacement by Chennai Super Kings for Sam Curran. Drakes has been in the United Arab Emirates as a net bowler which would lead to making his debut for the team in the IPL. It needs to be understood that Dominic has not yet made his debut for his national team yet.

Sam Curran has been part of the Chennai Super Kings since last year and is considered to be one of the best players among the Chennai Super Kings squad.

Sam Curran said that he felt extremely sad that he was going to miss the upcoming IPL 2021 Playoffs and the ICC T20 World Cup because of his injury.

He was quoted saying, “I absolutely loved my time with Chennai this season. The boys are doing extremely well. It hasn’t really sunk in but I am leaving the team. We are in a fantastic space. The boys are playing really good cricket. I am going to be supporting them from wherever I am in the next few days.”

Faf du Plessis and Sam Curran are Expected to miss the first match in the UAE leg

The IPL’s second leg will begin on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates. The IPL will resume in 2021, with Chennai Super Kings facing off against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians. CSK, on the other hand, may have to deal with two major setbacks before the competition begins. The team’s two-star players, Faf du Plessis and Sam Curran, are both unavailable, which is causing concern.

Faf du Plessis, a South African batsman, is presently playing in the Caribbean Premier League in the West Indies. He led the Saint Lucia Kings to victory in the tournament. However, due to a groin injury, he was unable to play in the remaining two games.

This has raised questions regarding his fitness and availability for the remainder of the IPL season. A CSK official, on the other hand, has indicated that the team is optimistic that Faf du Plessis will be available for the first match.

“We are sure that Faf du Plessis will be ready to play against the Mumbai Indians in the first match. Our medical staff will evaluate him once he arrives in the UAE for the IPL 2021, but we believe the week off will have aided his recovery. “Faf, along with other CSK players Dwayne Bravo and Imran Tahir, will be here on Thursday (September 16),” according to a Super Kings official, as published by MyKhel.

The CSK official also stated that players arriving from the CPL will not be subjected to quarantine because it is a bubble to bubble transfer.

CSK has begun full-fledged preparations for the second leg of the IPL

CSK was one of the first teams to arrive in the United Arab Emirates to begin their preparations. In the last several weeks, the players have been training at a high level. The English all-rounder Sam Curran, on the other hand, has only recently arrived in the UAE for the competition. However, in the first game, CSK will be without his services.

Curran will be required to stay in quarantine for six days. As a result, he will be unable to take command of the field for the game against the Mumbai Indians. Curran has been a key member of the squad, and his efforts will be vital if CSK are to maintain their winning ways in the IPL’s second leg.

In Response to Seeing Jasprit Bumrah Named on the Honors Board, Sanjana Ganesan Reacts

It is not everyday that your name appears on the honors board of an English cricket ground. Jasprit Bumrah earned a place on the honor board at Trent Bridge as he claimed an all-important five that brought England to its knees in the second innings.

As the match resumed, Bumrah announced a terrific comeback by claiming Rory Burns’ wicket to start the showdown. Until Shami wreaked havoc on the opening day of the Test, England seemed well settled.

When Bumrah was brought into the attack late, he quickly mopped up the English tail.

However, he saved his best for last. In the second innings, England’s captain, Joe Root, showed great leadership with a blistering century.

Bumrah’s exploits in the second innings began with Dom Sibley, followed by Zack Crawley, Sam Curran, Joe Root, and Stuart Broad. While India seemed worried about Root’s burgeoning innings, the country’s top fast bowler made a remarkable comeback after a couple of mediocre series.

Sanjana Ganesan, the illustrious sports presenter and wife of Jasprit Bumrah, posted a story on Instagram about Bumrah’s claim to a position on the honors board.

This year, Jasprit Bumrah married Sanjana Ganesan

The chemistry between the duo has been evoking awe for quite some time now. In the Indian cricket roster, they are considered one of the cutest couples. Earlier this year, the couple tied the knot and started a new chapter in their lives.

157 runs are needed for India to win the first Test Match. Rahul was dismissed yesterday after a decent knock that put India in the driving seat. India will begin its second World Test Championship with a five-match Test series.

Against England, Bumrah Displays Batting Mastery

In addition to his fast bowling, Jasprit Bumrah is also known for his batting. Previous games have shown him to be adept at defending deliveries.

Bumrah has played a crucial role in the ongoing five-match Test series against England. As a result of his four wickets, he played a crucial role.

In addition to the ball, he also contributed with the bat. Bumrah didn’t show any signs of flexing his muscles when Team India lost 9 wickets. He kept defending deliveries.

Bumrah continued to smash three fours and a six, unleashing his batting masterclass. Off Sam Curran’s bowling, he smashed a six. Bumrah surprised everyone with his exceptional batting.

With his crucial runs towards the end of the first Test, India stretched a healthy lead. The England cricket team was bowled out for 183 runs in their first innings. A 64-point performance by Joe Root, including 11 fours, led the way.

The Indian team responded by scoring 278 at the cost of all their wickets. Currently, the visitors lead by 95 runs and are comfortably in the lead. The first lead in the series belongs to Kohli & Co.

Bumrah flexes his muscles on Day 3

Jasprit Bumrah scored 28 off 34 balls with a strike rate of 82.35. It looked like he was at ease with the bat. Ollie Robinson dismissed him in the 85th over.

Robinson was the best bowler for the England cricket team. James Anderson took four wickets, while lanky pacer Pat Cummins accounted for five.
