Franchises sign West Indian player as a net bowler for IPL 2021 phase-2

The West Indies’ Dominic Drakes, Fidel Edwards, Ravi Rampaul and Sheldon Cottrell will join the UAE leg of the Indian Premier League as net bowlers. Despite this, it is unclear yet which groups these players will join, since a confirmation from any position will be required.

Rampaul recently returned to international cricket after the 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup was named, and is now leading the ongoing Caribbean Premier League with 18 wickets at 14.62 and an economy rate of 7.26 in nine games for Trinbago Knight Riders.

Rampaul played for RCB during the 2013-14 season, taking 14 wickets at 21.29 in 12 IPL games.
